フィリピン工場に新棟建設

ザマグループはフィリピンバタンガス州サントトーマスに位置する生産工場に新棟を建設します。2023年1月17日、新棟の着工式典が盛大に開催されました。新棟ではワイヤーハーネス、テクニカルテキスタイル、電子燃料噴射システムなどの新しいセグメントの生産を行う予定で、今後のザマグループの成長に欠かせない生産拠点となります。2024年2月の完成を予定し、稼働後のザマフィリピンの工場面積は22,000平方メートルから33,000平方メートルに増強されます。新棟は、環境に配慮しカーボンニュートラルに向けた対策を講じるため、グリーン電力と雨水の利用を含むベストプラクティスを取り入れています。

当社は2021年10月20日〜22日、米国ケンタッキー州ルイビルで開催されたOPE業界最大の展示会の一つであるGIE EXPOに出展しました。 COVID-19の流行により、昨年のGIE EXPOは中止を余儀なくされ、当社も従業員の感染防止を優先し、オフライン事業活動のほとんどを自粛しました。したがって今回のGIE EXPOはお客様、ディーラー、ユーザーの皆様と2年ぶりに直接対話ができる絶好の機会でした。

ZAMA and Elrad establish joint venture for electronic components

ZAMA Corporation and the Elrad International Group have established a joint venture for the manufacture of electronic assemblies. The two companies signed a joint venture agreement which was subsequently officially approved by the relevant antitrust authorities. The joint venture will operate under the name ZE Electronic Manufacturing Service Ltd. ZAMA holds 51 percent of the shares, the remaining 49 percent are held by Elrad. The companies have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.

Besides from carburetors and oil pumps which are well-known among our customers, our new precision components such as shafts, gears, high pressure pumps, solenoid valves will also be displayed at the exhibition. And we will present our electronic fuel injection system for selected customers (by prior appointment only).
