Our son Lukas has been with Building Blocks since he turned 3 for attention deficit. Our experience with Building Blocks has been very positiive. Tinny, Annie amd their team are experienced, dedicated, full of love for and curiosity about each child under their care. As a result, Lukas quickly developed close relationshipd with his regular therapists Lesley and Annie, and was willing to work hard during therapy despite the difficult tasks that he\u2019s challenged to do. Annie made sure that we could update them anytime (through whatsapp, by phone ot in person) about Lukas\u2019 continuously changing learning needs and our concerns. They provided us with parental training. They brought along and recommended learning supplies. Within months, we could see that the training was enhancing his learning and growth at school and at home.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Several months after starting ABA, the team identified that Lukas was also weak in social skills. They suggested that we found him as play date for his home sessions, and had some sessions at the centre so they could provide more social skills training for him. Annie and Tinny even brought along their own boys to play with Lukas! The children played together in the centre, went on mini outings under therapist supervision and even celebrated each other\u2019s birthdays. The fact that Annie and Tinny would do this in order to help my child was touching and also comforting.<\/p>\n

It is not possible to know how much of Lukas\u2019 improvements were directly a result of therapy and how much was just him growing up, but ABA without doubt has been a big positive influence.
