The city center as a whole was forecast to be home to 65,200 residents by mid-2019, which is an increase of 5,000 in the past 12 months. There was even a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/2019\/08\/30\/manchester-property-still-in-demand-with-117-spike-in-incoming-residents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">117% spike<\/a>\u00a0in people moving to Manchester in July this year compared to 2018.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ah-text-wrapper  \">\n        <div class=\"ah-text-content text-secondary text-normal\"><p>This north-western city has also retained its top spot as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/2019\/10\/14\/manchester-once-again-named-the-most-liveable-city-in-the-uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UK\u2019s most liveable city<\/a>, an accolade the city has held each year since the Global Liveability Survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit began in 2011. This highlights the continued demand and appeal to live and work in Manchester.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ah-text-wrapper  \">\n        <div class=\"ah-text-content text-secondary text-normal\"><p>By 2025, Manchester\u2019s population is forecast to surpass 635,000 as an additional 100,000 people are predicted to be living in the city center. Additionally, more students are choosing to remain in the city following graduation at Manchester\u2019s multiple universities.
